Port of Loading & Discharge (POL/POD)
Where it ships from and to. E.g. Shanghai port → Rotterdam port / Pudong Airport → Frankfurt Airport. For inland cities, specify pick-up and final delivery addresses.
Product Name & HS Code
The product name and customs HS code (first 6 digits suffice). The HS code determines export controls and duty rates. Unsure? Send the description and use — we'll classify and confirm.
Pieces · Gross Weight · Volume
Quantity, total gross weight (kg) and volume (m³). Volume is critical for LCL, directly determining chargeable tons. For FCL, specify the number and type of containers.
Incoterms
FOB (excl. ocean freight) or CIF/DAP/DDP (incl. freight + insurance + destination charges)? This directly determines what the quote includes. Unsure? FOB is the safest.
